Asha Ibrahim - CEO
Ever since her student days, Asha Ibrahim dreamed of creating something truly her own — something that combined her love for food, culture, and entrepreneurship. While many of her peers planned careers in traditional paths, Asha held onto a different vision: to take Kerala’s beloved snacks to the world.
Born into a family with over 40 years of experience in the banana trade, Asha grew up watching her parents build a business from the ground up. She learned the values of hard work, integrity, and consistency early in life. But she always believed there was more that could be done — especially in introducing Kerala’s authentic flavors to global markets.
After her marriage, she shared this dream with her husband, Abubekker Siddique, who not only supported her vision but became her partner in bringing it to life. Together, they transformed their family’s legacy into Zamzam Food — a modern export company that stays true to its roots while embracing global standards.
The journey was far from easy. There were challenges, doubts, and countless late nights. But with determination and teamwork, Zamzam Food grew from a local snack producer into an international brand, exporting authentic Kerala snacks like banana chips, pakkavada, murukku, and sharkara varatti to countries including the USA, UAE, and UK.
Today, as CEO, Asha leads with a clear mission — to share Kerala’s flavors with the world while preserving the tradition and quality that her family built over decades. And for her, this is just the beginning.

With 5 years of hands-on experience in banana snack production, the second generation is now leading the way. Under the vision of CEO Asha Ibrahim and CFO Abubekker Siddique, Zamzam Foods is expanding from local kitchens to international shelves — sharing Kerala’s flavors with the world.
